Scottsbluff National Monument is located outside of the towns of Scottsbluff and Gering Nebraska. It is located on the Oregon, Mormon, and California Trails and was one of the major landmarks on the way out west. This shot was taken on a cloudy evening. The illumination is provided by street lights from the local town.
